New Addition! MC LOUNGE AW12-13

This week we're combining two of my favorite things: MC Lounge pieces and an unapologetically rich purple color that I adore.

MC Lounge makes show stopping stretch silk loungewear that also is functional. Their stuff is easily hand washed and works as lingerie or outerwear. While I loved the navy and cream color combinations that they were showing last season, this new purple color way is even prettier.

Let's start with the basics: The MCLounge Stretch Silk Yoga Shorts and MC Lounge Silk Racer Back Camisole. These yoga shorts are far too pretty to sweat in! The camisole is begging to be worn as outerwear with your favorite jeans or little black skirt, but you could also pair the two pieces as loungewear around the house or as pajamas. This set would make a great Christmas present for someone who values both comfort and style.

The MC Lounge Silk Chiffon Robe is sheer and sexy while keeping the luxurious silk feel of the other pieces in the collection. The silk collar and tie remind me of the classic robes of the 30's and 40's, while the sheer silk chiffon material and shorter length give this robe a decidedly modern twist.

The MC Lounge Stretch Silk Chemise is perfect as a sexy nightgown, a slip, or even outerwear for the more daring. I love that the brand is embracing this look and showing it with a belt this season. Holiday Lingerie

The holidays are approaching, which means that many women are taking stock of their party clothes and thinking about how to put a new spin on their look for the season. Instead of stocking up on more dresses, I'm putting forth an alternative solution.
